With Nymansgården, Halmstad municipality wanted to create a home with an inclusive and homely care environment, while the interior design would have high demands on medical quality, hygiene and ergonomics. After study visits to similar residences and with the right skills, the interior design became one with the vision and the architecture. Warm, earthy tones, clean wooden surfaces and practical, easy-care furniture created a safe and socially valuable environment with good ergonomic design, for both staff and residents.
