Jonas Osslund

Designer and interior architect

Jonas Osslund is educated partly at Capellagården on Öland (carpentry) and partly at Konstfack University College of Arts Crafts and Design in Stockholm (furniture and interior architecture) and F.I.T in New York. Jonas was born in 1953 in Stockholm, Sweden.

For NC, Jonas Osslund has designed the chair ALVA. When he is not designing furniture, Jonas also works as a lecturer at Konstfack in Stockholm. He has also been a professor at Liu-Malmsten in Lidingö.

In addition to NC, Jonas has designed furniture for, among others, Lammhults Möbel, MiljöExpo. Mitab, Swedese, Offecct, Blond Belysning, Albin i hyssna, EFG. He is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm with the chairs "Dacapo" for Lammhults and chair "Klyka" for MiljöExpo.

Jonas has been awarded the Excellent Swedish Form award on several occasions as well as numerous scholarships.
